I am a board certified medical illustrator (CMI) and my work has been recognized by the U.S. Ad Review for outstanding print advertisement in the health field and the Diagnostic Marketing Association (DxMA) 2007 Creative Communication Awards for the Allergan Silcon Breast Implant Launch Campaign. My professional memberships include the Association of Medical Illustrators (AMI), Guild of Natural Science Illustrators (GNSI) and Staten Island Creative Community (SICC). Currently I am continuing my printmaking work at the Art Lab, the art school at Snug Harbor Cultural Institute on Staten Island. I had been studying for quite a number of years with the late Herman Zaage who was both my mentor and dear friend. Some of my prints can be seen in the print portfolio section of this site and I often exhibit my work at local shows including the annual Art by the Ferry exhibition. Please take a moment to see what is new at my Studio Update page and call or e-mail if you have any questions or comments! You can also follow me on Twitter (thanks to the urging of my techno-savvy son) at http://twitter.com/WBJStudios. |
